A Canvas of a Thousand Greens.

Aspen green, teal, and fresh green are the newest additions to Kohler's Heritage Colours Collection. These particular greens were hand-picked from the legendary Kohler archives for their links to health and the natural world, as well as their ability to complement or contrast with a wide range of architectural styles.

Located in the Hollywood Hills, Flamingo Estate is both a luxurious lifestyle brand and an enchanting mansion. Owned and farmed by Richard Christiansen, who takes great delight in producing his own food as well as sourcing it from a global network of more than 125 farms, the property also features olive oil, honey, and soap.

The brand culture of both Flamingo Estate and Kohler promotes wellness and sustainable living, and both companies have a passion for the environment and handcrafted goods. Kohler asked Christiansen to help rethink a contemporary presentation of the palette by recognising their shared ideals.

"Flamingo Estate is my home and garden, but it's more than that. It's a philosophy that champions slow ways and ancient rituals. The garden offered us a generous palette, and it started with a canvas of a thousand greens. Each of these greens has something to say, and we want to hear their stories," says Christiansen. "Kohler shares a lot of the same values, curiosities, and things that we love and cultivate at Flamingo Estate. We care deeply about quality, and about time, texture, and attention to detail. Working with Kohler and the entire team was an amazing opportunity to harness the personality of the estate and embrace the joy of bringing nature into our world."

The "From Green, Beauty Blooms" campaign by Heritage Greens was influenced by the original colour ads from the 1970s and 1980s, which aimed to bring the beauty and delight of nature into people's homes. The extravagant Flamingo Estate was the setting for the conceptual film and photographs by Original Kids and Théo de Gueltzl, which Kohler and Flamingo Estate commissioned.

"We have a passion for designing products to help people bring their creative visions to life," says Anthony Reeves, VP-Global Creative at Kohler. "The natural landscape and lush gardens of Flamingo Estate evoke a sense of calm and wellbeing that resonate throughout the stories we crafted together."
