A highly anticipated event in Paris: Le Grand Mazarin
The historic Le Grand Mazarin is now part of Maisons Pariente's collection of boutique hotels that meet the needs of today's discerning travelers. The interior builder Martin Brudnizki combined three buildings from the 14th century to create the landmark we see today.
In the middle of Le Marais, Le Grand Mazarin offers 50 guestrooms and 11 suites, a lively restaurant, two bars, an indoor pool, a fitness facility, and a hammam. Paris's famed sense of exuberance now has a new nerve centre. Le Grand Mazarin, located at the crossroads of rue des Archives and rue de la Verrerie, is a celebration of Paris's enduring history, art, generosity, and the pursuit of a casually elegant standard of living. Le Grand Mazarin, a new landmark in this charming neighbourhood, reimagines the area's timeless charm.
Elegance and creativity above all...
Martin Brudnizki, a world-famous interior designer, used his own unique point of view to give this hotel in the Marais its unique, showy style. A celebration of French classicism that uses the skill of the designer and the best arts and crafts to create a bold contrast.
A warm and unique atmosphere...
To be discovered in the 61 rooms and suites, from the bar to the restaurant, from the terrace to the swimming pool... Refined spaces, with furniture and vintage objects, celebrate the authentic art of living of Maisons Pariente, as imagined by Leslie Kouhana, President and Kimberley Cohen, Artistic Director: "This is a very emotional moment for us, the culmination of a wonderful project that has been close to our hearts for several years. The first 5-star urban hotel of Maisons Pariente in Paris, our home town for as long as we can remember... The Grand Mazarin embodies the quintessential spirit of our hotels, that subtle blend of elegance and warm simplicity that is common to all our addresses. But this new place is much more than a hotel, we have thought of it as a destination in its own right, where you can meet up, share special moments, where there is always something going on. A unique place in Paris.”
Boubalé, a joyfully festive spirit...
Eastern European grandmothers often refer to their grandchildren with the secret code moniker Boubalé, which means "my little darling" in Yiddish. A complete mood for the dining room, bar, winter garden, balcony, and even the mysterious cabaret. Partnering with the Pariente family, the lovely crew at JLM Group (Balagan, Shabour*, Tékès, Shosh...) has taken on the task of providing a new experience that promises to inject Paris with an energy that is both whimsical and generous. Assaf Granit, an acclaimed Israeli cook, takes a risk by returning to the Ashkenazi cuisine of his youth in his latest book, Boubalé. The meals are light and flavorful, decorated with vibrant colours and an eclectic modernism. Taking your taste buds on a trip to a mysterious region between the Balkans and the Mediterranean…
