A Unique Ability to Truly Excel at Daily Driving & Track Use.
KAMManufaktur in Budapest spent years perfecting the 912c, prioritising efficiency while also ensuring that the user experience was never compromised. The first production model of the 912c was released by the business in September 2022, and it was met with much praise. The 912c prototype was designed with a track bias in mind, making for a thrilling yet challenging ride. In keeping with the KAMM philosophy of Dare to Drive, the production specification 912c shown today has been updated to provide thrilling performance, analogue feel, and the potential to fully excel in both daily driving and track use.
The wet weight of a production-ready KAMM 912c is under 750 kg. The 2.0 JPS Aircooled engine generates 190 horsepower, 228 Newton-meters of torque, and 95 horsepower per litre, which is more than the 82 horsepower generated by the Porsche 2.2S and the 78 horsepower generated by the 2.7 RS.
The key upgrades for production specification are as follows:
2.0 JPS Aircooled 616 engine producing 190hp and 228nm of torque, featuring uprated case, heads, and rods, with a 7200rpm redline
TracTive-based KAMM semi-active coilover suspension. Multi-stage, electronically adjustable (via a 5-position analogue dial located in the cabin). Levels pre-set by KAMM engineers to offer the perfect balance for road and track
KAMM electronic fuel injection and throttle bodies replace carburetters to provide constant performance levels in all environments, ease of starting and improved power and torque
Life Racing ECU and PDM added to aid regular use and provide the ability to obtain detailed engine diagnostics
APC brakes all-round for improved performance and reduced unsprung weight
Bespoke stainless steel road exhaust system with improved silencing and catalysts
Revised gear ratios to improve high-speed cruising
Revised steering rack gearing – 2.5 turns lock-to-lock (compared to 1.7 on prototype)
Option of a full carbon fibre bodyshell – semi-carbon body as standard
Option of centre-lock or 5-stud wheels in a number of designs
Option of track-tuned engine
The lightweight automobiles made by KAMM are made with the driver in mind, providing them with all they need to enjoy the sport of driving but nothing more. Without sacrificing quality, KAMM updates the legendary 912 to produce the gorgeous 912c, which comes with an impressive list of standard features.

The KAMM 912c starts with a fundamental model that has undergone painstaking restoration by KAMM's in-house team of engineers. To achieve a smooth finish and precise fit, steel is swapped out for carbon fibre manufactured by KAMM. The 912c is comprised of several custom pieces, all of which are created and constructed at KAMM Headquarters and serve to enhance the vehicle while keeping its original vibe intact.
The 912c has an authentic appearance and feel for its time period; however, hidden current upgrades make it better in every way. It seems to be an original classic that holds up under investigation, enhancing the 912's signature look and feel while staying true to the spirit of the car. The end product is a highly exhilarating historic racer that is a sensory joy and has practicality not normally associated with old racing cars.
Knowledgeable Swiss racers With the help of JPS Aircooled, a high-performance, custom 4-cylinder engine is built, boasting unparalleled dependability and performance. Engineers at KAMM give the chassis, brakes, suspension, wheels, and tyres a significant upgrade while also swapping out all of the old components for brand new, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) components.
Every single 912c is a custom-made product. The 912c is made after a customer consults with KAMM's creator, Miklós Kázmér, to determine their precise performance and aesthetic preferences. Once a full road and track examination is performed to verify that every 912c is worthy of the KAMM name, the transformation is complete with unlimited colour possibilities and unique interior redesigns. In January of this year, KAMM 912c production formally kicked off with the building of the first customer car its route to the United States, followed by a number of subsequent builds heading route to delivery in various parts of the world.
KAMManufaktur Founder Miklós Kázmér said, “I am delighted to present the production specification KAMM 912c to the world. To receive such high praise for our prototype was a proud moment for us, and we feel confident the production specification will be equally well received. The 912c is designed to be as usable as a modern car but retains the driving experience of a classic racing car. We provide reliability and performance with the analogue feel you would expect from a sports car of the sixties, and this makes it unique in the restomod sector.”
The 2023 KAMM 912c now costs €360,000 (with a 912 donor) because to its improved specifications. Those who choose to utilise their own 912 will pay €320,000 for the modification. There are only two 2023 construction slots left.
