Armin Strom's Most Unadulterated Masterpiece.

Armin Strom's most unadulterated masterpiece, the Tribute 1, has been given a chromatic twist with the addition of four fumé dials, each of which is limited to ten pieces. Featuring a manual-winding movement that was created and made in-house, as well as a motor barrel that is located on the guilloché dial plate, the Tribute 1 Fumé is an impressive mechanical masterpiece that beautifully combines contemporary design with a touch of classic aesthetics.

Uncomplicated and straightforward, as Armin Strom would have it. The Tribute 1 is the independent manufacturer's one-of-a-kind interpretation of the three-hand watch, which is considered to be the most fundamental of all timekeepers. When it comes to the Tribute 1, which is perhaps the most important manifestation of the art of watchmaking, each and every element is produced with great care in order to generate a piece that is harmonious, integrated, and very original in comparison to any other. Now, it has a more dramatic appearance with fumé dials in four stunning colours and guilloché dial plates that were created by the dial studio of the renowned independent watchmaker Kari Voutilainen. The Tribute 1 Fumé is available in four different dial colours: ocean, slate, sky, and burgundy. Each colour is limited to ten pieces.

The fumé dial, which is dramatic, vivid, and reflects a multiplicity of tones, adds a new dimension to the Tribute 1 that was already three-dimensional. Its vignette effect, which has a mood that is unmistakably reminiscent of the 1970s, creates a stunning gradient of brilliant highlights at the centre of the dial that give way to gloomy contrast towards the outside border. Light animates the dial, bringing out the various tones and shades of the four dials' colours. The base of the dial is made of a metallic material that has been brushed with a sunray finish. The anthracite guilloché plate, which is created by Kari Voutilainen, a well-known independent watchmaker and close friend of the company, contributes to the outstanding appearance that is further enhanced by the plate.

"The Tribute 1 is a twist on the classic dress watch—literally," said Claude Greisler, who is both a co-founder of Armin Strom and a master watchmaker. This was in reference to the most recent innovation from the Armin Strom manufacturer. Its slim 38 mm steel casing, which features an irregularly positioned crown at two o'clock, as well as its off-centre tiny dial that displays the hours, minutes, and seconds, all contribute to the watch's harmonious asymmetry. From the dial side, there is something mechanical and extremely creative to appreciate, just like there is in every other creation that Armin Strom has made.

A bridge with an open finger shape holds the ground-breaking "motor barrel" in place. Prominently visible, it is defined by an arbour that spins around the mainspring within the barrel itself. This makes it far more efficient than previous models, while also allowing it to conserve space. The fact that a single mainspring barrel may provide a power reserve of one hundred hours is an outstanding accomplishment. Armin Strom's talent for intricate hand-finishing is on full display throughout the manual-winding calibre AMW21, which is elaborately adorned throughout. Various methods of ornamentation are utilised in order to enhance the movement, which is considered to be the purest to date.

It is the velvety-soft and supple Grey Alcantara calf leather that serves as the final touch for the Tribute 1 Fumé. There is white stitching on the strap.
