Bergdorf Goodman's Café Ginori is centred around the Art of Plating, a novel method that reinterprets mise en place. Every dish is an exquisite fusion of porcelain and culinary artistry, crafted with painstaking precision and an abiding love of aesthetics.

Café Ginori was born out of a desire to infuse our artistic and aesthetic values into the realm of lifestyle and to create a novel eating experience that, while honouring the distinctiveness of Italian cuisine, would delight diners on each and every occasion. Ginori 1735's CEO, Alain Prost, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to launch the Café Ginori in collaboration with Bergdorf Goodman, a legendary luxury destination that shares the brand's vision for the future.

Café Ginori at Bergdorf Goodman is the newest addition to the illustrious restaurant group that the shop runs, and each one offers a unique perspective. With the opening of this new café, Bergdorf Goodman has given its illustrious clientele a new place to experience once-in-a-lifetime opportunities for inspiration and joy.

"Exceptional service is in our DNA and with the opening of Café Ginori at Bergdorf Goodman we're thrilled to have this partnership come to life with such a historic brand," said Melissa Xides, Chief Retail Officer, Bergdorf Goodman. "The stunning new destination fuses our strength in luxury experiences with Ginori 1735's rich heritage of Italian hospitality and exceptional craftsmanship to offer a truly first-of-its-kind concept to our customers."

Every part of the café exudes the unique charm of Ginori 1735. Enchanting meals that imaginatively reimagine Italian classics are a remarkable multisensory exercise in which the plating is coordinated such that the pattern and colour of the porcelain emphasise the uniqueness. All of the lunchware is from the Oriente Italiano line, which has a medley of colours. As soon as it is combined at the table, a beetroot risotto that was originally cream coloured turns a vibrant pink when served on a plate with a matching pattern of roses.

Guests may enjoy updated versions of traditional dishes like Veal Ragù Tagliatelle, Eggplant Parmigiana, and Beef Carpaccio. For entrée salads, try the Insalata Lobster, which features capers, frisée, endive, and a lemon parsley emulsion. After lunch, it's time for tea, when the menu changes to include a selection of teas and coffees served with savoury snacks and sweet Italian delights. The plating changes to patterns like Il Viaggio di Nettuno, which are both fun and dramatic.

Light bites and pleasant drinks like the Ginori 1735, an aperitif-based tribute to the Italian beach, will be offered as teatime turns into the Italian time-honoured aperitivo. As the emphasis moves to Gio Ponti's refined Labirinto collection, which he designed over a century ago, the room takes on a new vibe, becoming a one-of-a-kind venue for after-work celebrations. The Oriente Italiano wallpaper and the embroidered fabrics used on cushions, pillows, and chairs from the brand's Domus home line are the focal points of the Café, which showcases the hallmarks of Ginori 1735. On top of that, the newly built brand shop on the seventh floor will include all of the Ginori 1735 goods served at the café.
