Damen Yachting at MYS: The Big Line Up.

This year's Monaco Yacht Show will feature the largest ever collection of Damen Yachting displays, with six Amels superyachts and one Yacht Support on exhibit.

The Amels 180 PAPA and the Amels 60 ENTOURAGE are the two most notable boats in the fleet. In addition to these vessels, their respective brokers will also be showcasing the Amels 180 WERE DREAMS, the Amels 60 COME TOGETHER, the Full Custom CALYPSO, and the Yacht Support DAPPLE during the event. The Amels 212 VENTUM MARIS will presumably also be on display.

The market-leading Amels Limited Editions classics PAPA, VENTUM MARIS, and WERE DREAMS all have the external design trademark of the great designer Tim Heywood. The well-known Monaco-based designer Espen Ino created the exterior lines of the new Amels 60 Limited Editions, ENTOURAGE and COME TOGETHER.

All five boats adhere to the Amels Limited Editions philosophy, which allows for owner customization while sharing a tried-and-true semi-custom technological base and Damen Yachting naval design. All of these vehicles' distinct personalities, exterior styles, and interior embellishments are on full display in this lineup. Unlike her sister ship COME TOGETHER, which distinguishes out with her metallic Pebble Grey hull and characteristic angular windows, ENTOURAGE's hull, superstructure, and unique interiors by Burdifilek feature a continuous stream of glazing. When on display with her broker, the Full Custom CALYPSO will not only showcase Amels' commitment to bespoke design and first-rate refit but will also stand out as a truly one-of-a-kind superyacht.

Yacht Support 53

This impressive fleet is evidence of Damen Yachting's continuous dedication to a well-balanced full-custom, refit, and semi-custom design strategy behind the 105-year-old Amels brand. The Amels Limited Editions collection, introduced to the market in 2007 by the visionary entrepreneur Kommer Damen, is widely regarded as the watershed moment in the evolution of the superyacht industry.

Amels superyachts, SeaXplorer exploration yachts, Yacht Support boats, and large refurbishment projects are only some of Damen Yachting's powerful, broad, and expanding portfolio.

Amels 60 - ENTOURAGE

The 60-metre ENTOURAGE, which will be unveiled during the event, will be delivered to her owner in the early years of 2023.

Guillaume Plisson - M/Y ENTOURAGE

Espen Ino International and Damen Yachting collaborated to design the second Amels 60 superyacht, ENTOURAGE. The seasoned owner of ENTOURAGE commissioned the Canadian design team Burdifilek to construct a sumptuous and tranquil interior for his Amels 60.

In order to personalise the project and make the most of the well-balanced Amels Limited Editions technological platform and quick build time, the owner worked closely with Damen Yachting and build supervisors Moran Yacht & Ship.

Amels 180 Limited Editions - PAPA

Tim Heywood created the 55-meter PAPA for the Amels 180 Limited Editions series, and Laura Sessa created its sleek, contemporary interior. Her layout and facilities are tailored to the charter market for extended holidays, particularly the onboard cinema, huge jacuzzi, gym, Teppanyaki bar, and expanded Sun Deck. The yacht's five cabins, including the full-beam owner's suite with a private office, will wow visitors to the Monaco Yacht Show.

PAPA was completed in 2019 and has now departed for Southeast Asia. Two years later, in 2022, she set sail from Phuket across the Pacific for a spectacular 8,500 nm journey back to the Netherlands for an Amels refurbishment at Damen Yachting.

Full Custom - Amels 120

The Amels 120 Full Custom scale model will be on display at the Damen Yachting booth to provide attendees with a firsthand glimpse at the yacht's amenities.

Since her June 2023 arrival at the Amels construction headquarters in Vlissingen, the Netherlands, the 120-metre superyacht has been the centre of attention. Since then, the whole team has been working tirelessly, and plenty of exciting new construction progress is being made. The five-deck superyacht is growing more stunning by the day, and her 2025 delivery date is still on schedule.

The Amels 120 Full Custom, currently the biggest superyacht under construction in the Netherlands, will include the latest in design and technology, including diesel-electric propulsion and Kongsberg Elegance® pods.

There are always going to be concerns raised about the role shipyards play in environmental protection. Like the yachts they create, their approach to sustainability is based on the principle of constant progress and development. This is why the 2023 Monaco Yacht Show will feature a study of the event's environmental effects.

This year, in an effort to reduce waste, their JS6 booth was built out of salvaged wood that had already been recovered, cleaned, and decorated for another purpose. This wood is almost a century old and will give their Port Hercules house a lot of personality. The seaside shacks typical of their native Zeeland, the Netherlands, served as inspiration for the stand's design.
