DIOR KIDS: Mizza Galaxy
The concluding part of Baby Dior’s autumn-winter 2023 collection showcases a number of unique new Mizza Galaxy styles that provide a sense of “back to school.”
A cute feline creature consistently surprises kids who learn about the wonders of nature through play and mischief. This is the principal source of inspiration for Cordelia de Castellane, who took the leopard print that the House has always admired and transformed it into a beautiful camouflage pattern with spots that were larger and uneven, as if they had been lovingly clawed into the fabric.
This one-of-a-kind print, which is shown in entrancing tones of grey and black, is used to adorn astonishing products that achieve a balance between beauty and usefulness. A dungaree dress, a woollen skirt, and an irresistibly modern bomber jacket have been added to the girls’ collection of fashionable clothing as a result. The collection showcases models made out of technical toile, such as a windcheater that is embellished with pockets that revisit the contours of the saddle bag. The boys’ attire is characterised by a laid-back aesthetic that features a few hints of lime green as accent colours.
The alluring animal pattern that serves as the inspiration for the collection is incorporated into down coats, blouses, T-shirts, and sweatpants that feature the Dior Oblique motif. The silhouettes, which are unwaveringly daring, risk a mix-and-match of materials, layering, and a play on textures and proportions. An exquisite detail, a crest embellished with a bee—one of the House of Dior’s valued emblems—is engraved with the slogan “Let’s have fun,” so completing the items with an invitation to indulge in the pleasures of childhood. The bee is one of the cherished symbols of the House of Dior.
On knits and fake fur jackets designed for newborns, a reimagined version of the iconic Mizza motif is featured. This print is meant to evoke the paw prints of a carefree, strolling cat. This one-of-a-kind collection is finished off with a cheery stuffed animal that’s cosy and happy.
