Caren Jochner, Global Head of Brand Experience at Bentley, commented: “Bentley’s prestige and quality credentials as a maker of luxury cars are undisputed, and we are always looking at ways to widen Bentley’s appeal beyond automotive, giving new audiences relevant opportunities to experience the Bentley brand and explore new places. The Extraordinary Journeys series is a demonstration of this, bringing our passion for discovery into a series of adventures for both new and existing Bentley customers.”

Guests will be treated to sustainable, seasonal, and locally produced products throughout the culinary programme. The vacation will incorporate time spent in nature, learning about history, participating in arts and culture, and relaxing.

ITINERARY OVERVIEW

Day One

When visitors arrive in Cheshire, the Bentley staff will extend a warm welcome to them at the company's iconic CW1 House showroom. Prior to being whisked away to the plant, the guests will be treated to a special lunch. After a one-of-a-kind chance to meet our coworkers on the production line and see the plant in action, we'll have a private dinner in the same location, with all of the ingredients coming from within 26 miles.

Day Two

As a group, guests will make their way to the Peak District National Park in a procession of Bentleys, including the Continental GT, Flying Spur, and Bentayga. Ascending into the "Dark Peak" area, visitors will go via picture-perfect chocolate-box towns and famed market towns. The day comes to a close in the Yorkshire Dales at the Georgian country house hotel Grantley Hall, where you can enjoy a meal made with seasonal ingredients obtained locally and carefully farmed on the premises.

Day Three

Starting the third day with a selection of wellness activities in Grantley Hall's natural surroundings is a great way to strike a balance between mind, body, and spirit.

Following breakfast, the procession enters Northumberland National Park and the North Pennines, which boast some of the most breathtaking roadways in the world.

The magnificent ride continues over undulating hills, past enchanting abbeys and magnificent manor houses and castles, until it reaches The Treehouses at Lanrick. Located in a peaceful forest setting on the edge of the Trossachs National Park, this eco-friendly retreat is a hidden gem that offers genuine seclusion without sacrificing comfort. As the sun sets, everyone will assemble to meet the evening's celebrity chef, Nick Nairn. Enjoy a starry nightcap outside while dining on fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Day Four

Stopping for refreshments at the matchless Fife Arms in Braemar, a 200-year-old Scottish lodge, visitors will go northeast into Great Britain’s biggest National Park, The Cairngorms. The hotel was an early adopter of upcycling practices and now houses an impressive collection of over 16,000 artefacts, including works by Picasso, Freud, Bruegel, and even watercolours by Her Majesty Queen Victoria and Her Royal Highness Prince Charles.

The next stop on the tour will be The Macallan Estate, a 485-acre piece of Speyside countryside that is home to the distillery of the same name. Renowned international architects built the estate with sustainability in mind. A private distillery tour, guided tastings, and a gourmet lunch in stunning settings will make up this once-in-a-lifetime immersion experience.

The last stop on our tour honours the collaboration between Bentley and The Macallan by revealing the story behind their single malt whisky and the people, processes, and passions that go into its creation. Guests will say their goodbyes at a private, well-planned dinner at Elchies Brasserie, and the evening will conclude with a nightcap.

Day Five

Guests will be driven to Aberdeen or Inverness International Airport for their return journey after a last breakfast. From Inverness, you may also book the famous Caledonian Sleeper train ride to London.

Places on the exclusive trips are limited, with just five couples within each group; the programme will run from 19 – 23 August 2024 and 2 – 6 September 2024.

Attendance will be priced at £14,950 per person, based on double occupancy. Single supplement options also available. Use of a Bentley also included for the trip.
