More Space, More Power & More Goose Pimples

The Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door variant offers increased legroom, increased power, and increased goosebumps, and it also expands the AMG model family. The renowned SLS and AMG GT serve as inspiration for Affalterbach's first four-door sports vehicle. Mercedes-AMG has done it again with this sleek and sporty four-door fastback that has their signature design language, high levels of comfort, and innovative sports car tech. Hence, it provides greater room and more options for utilisation. Adding a four-door coupe to the AMG GT lineup was a logical next step in the brand's development strategy, making Mercedes-unrivalled AMG's performance available to anyone shopping for a daily driver in the sports car market.

The Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé, with its superior longitudinal and lateral characteristics and attractive appearance with classic proportions, is easily mistaken for its two-door sibling. The four-door coupé, the youngest member of the AMG family, sets the bar with its expressive design, which has a low bonnet, a commanding front, and strong body language. The first four-door AMG GT vehicle, it blends advanced sports car technology with high levels of daily comfort.

With a peak speed of up to 315 km/h and excellent driving characteristics, the AMG GT 4-Door Coupé strikes an unassailably superb figure everywhere it travels, in addition to providing exceptional driving experiences. Impressive performance and cutting-edge economy are brought together in cutting-edge, potent, and contemporary 6-cylinder in-line and V8 engines that produce anywhere from 320 kW (435 hp) to 470 kW (639 hp).

The inside of the first four-door AMG GT model is a study in understated luxury and cutting-edge technology, with intuitive control panels that can be set up in a variety of ways. The abundance of equipment packages and unique options further highlights the union of high personalization and sports car technology, which caters to the needs of picky consumers. The latest masterpiece from Affalterbach lives up to the Mercedes-AMG brand promise in terms of exceptional driving characteristics and also establishes the standard in its class on the racecourse.

The AMG GT 4-Door Coupé is instantly recognisable as a member of the AMG GT family thanks to its design ethos of Sensual Purity. It takes the distinctive proportions of the two-door AMG GT Coupé and develops them into a thrilling four-door model.

It's easy to tell that this is the newest member of the AMG GT family by its large bonnet and dual powerdomes up front. The muscular body oozes dynamic energy, and the 4-door coupé continues the design history of the popular AMG GT vehicles. The four-door GT's flowing form with the reduced greenhouse signals its athletic credentials, yet the car's sensuous contours and convex surfaces provide it with timeless beauty. The AMG GT R's radiator shutters help increase the vehicle's aerodynamic efficiency, as does the air panel located in front of the central cooling air intake. The AMG-specific radiator protection grille, the Shark Nose, the front apron with its improved Jet Wing (with a flowing A-Wing on the six-cylinder model), and the slim MULTIBEAM LED headlights all combine to give the newest member of the AMG GT family its distinctive appearance.

Features of traditional coupé design, such as frameless side windows and a flat windscreen angled sharply towards the back, are also included. The AMG GT models' signature aerodynamics and clean lines are preserved despite the installation of a third row of seats in the trunk. Very prominent rear wheel arches further emphasise the car's athletic, dynamic stance, which is suggested by the contoured top curves and broad shoulders.

The rear of the 4-door coupé adopts cues from the AMG GT design idiom, including the ultra-narrow LED taillights that define the hallmark boot sill line and the rear aerofoil that can be extended in multiple stages to not only emphasise the family affiliation but also play an important role in the active aerodynamics.

The three horizontal louvres in the front bumper, the Jet Wing with its Silver Shadow trim element, the characteristic diffuser at the tail end, and the two-pipe exhaust system with trapezoidal tailpipe trimmings all distinguish the two eight-cylinder variants. Meanwhile, the six-cylinder model's rear diffuser isn't quite as obvious, and there's just one louvre in each of the air intake grilles.

"The AMG GT 4-Door Coupé is the ultimate four-door sports car and the ideal ambassador for Performance Luxury", said Gorden Wagener, Chief Design Officer Daimler AG. "It embodies a symbiosis of emotion and intelligence with breathtaking proportions and a puristic, surface-oriented design with sensuous shapes. It is both hot and cool at the same time."

There is a wide variety of external equipment packages available for the AMG GT 4-Door Coupé that may be utilised to accentuate various aspects of the vehicle's appearance. High-gloss black trim is included in the Night Package, while high-gloss chrome trim and an insert highlight the vehicle's opulent nature in the Chrome Package. Two Carbon-Fibre Packages provide various carbon-fibre interior trim options, while an available Aerodynamics Package gives the car a sportier look—a must-have in this market. The JetWing in Silver Shadow in the front apron and the fixed rear aerofoil are all high-gloss black, and they have the additional purpose of reducing lift at higher speeds. The V8 style package gives buyers of the six-cylinder model access to the same sleek looks as the eight-cylinder variants.

The cabin merges an ultramodern operating system into the ambiance of a Gran Turismo, presenting a combination of performance and exclusivity. The broad, flowing trim element contrasts nicely with the sculptural instrument panel and flows into the driver's door for a wraparound look. Adding to the premium image and emphasising the racing vibe are illuminated air vents styled like turbines. The stylized V8 design of the centre console is the focal point of every AMG GT's cabin, drawing attention to the brand's performance claims while also satisfying all practical needs.

The Widescreen Cockpit is standard on the V8 and available on the inline 6-cylinder model, and it features two high-resolution screens measuring 12.3 inches each. Choose from "Classic," "Sport," or "Supersport" for one of three distinct looks for these fully digital screens. The numerous styles may be set at any moment through the instrument cluster or the main display depending on the driving style or the interior equipment.

Information such as the traditional speedometer and tachometer, statistics on navigation or assistance systems, and even specific engine information can be projected onto the left or right side of the display by pressing the Touch Control Button on the steering wheel. A g-force readout or the current output and torque numbers can also be hidden from view for the more athletic driver.

Further motorsport-inspired details, such as a blatant reminder to shift up a gear when driving in manual mode, are displayed under the "Supersport" perspective. All other material and data, including navigation, radio, media, telephone, and vehicle information, are accessed through the main display. The map can be seen in its entirety on the screen, making it easy to read no matter how dark the road is. Other performance-focused features include an all-wheel drive display.
