THE AVENTADOR: RAW POWER, RAW EMOTION, AND RAW PURITY.

The Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae is a final production model that honours the legendary V12 super sports car and combustion engine by condensing the purest elements of all Aventador editions into a single, definitive product. The Aventador LP 780-4, in in coupé and roadster variants, integrates the SVJ’s performance with the Aventador S’s refined elegance to create a show-stopping collector’s item.

The graceful contours of the Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae belie its potent engine. Lamborghini’s LP 780-4 Ultimae is a celebration of the raw power, raw emotion, and raw purity of the Aventador’s ten years of progress, from the knowledge of the Nürburgring-Nordschleife record SVJ powerplant set in July 2018 to the super sports technical innovations and luxury of S mode. This Aventador is the pinnacle of its line and represents the concluding chapter in the history of the classic V12 combustion engine.

The Aventador S introduced four-wheel steering, which improved lateral control and made the vehicle more agile at low and medium speeds while providing more stability at high speeds. Lamborghini’s Dynamic Steering (LDS) is integrated with the active rear-wheel steering to provide responsive feedback and sharp turn-in, with independent actuators reacting to steering inputs in under five milliseconds to optimise cornering performance.

With similar longitudinal performance to the SVJ, the LP 780-4 Ultimae’s design incorporates a unique front bumper concept to boost aero load at the front. The ESC has been fine-tuned for quick and accurate traction control and vehicle dynamics, detecting and compensating for variations in grip, even on low-grip terrain like snow and ice. As a result of the rear-wheel steering, the permanent four-wheel drive is set up to send more power to the rear axle, with less power going to the front, for a sporty but safe oversteer. Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Attiva (LDVA) manages the systems by analysing sensor data in real time to determine the optimal reaction of all active components, guaranteeing optimal vehicle dynamics under every driving scenario.

The LP 780-4’s front splitter and open “mouth” direct extra airflow to improve aerodynamic efficiency, engine cooling, and radiator ventilation. The Ultimae’s lightweight rear bumper rounds out the dynamic look and celebrates the SVJ’s track-oriented heritage, while the front bumper’s airducts and side cooling inlet minimise aerodynamic interference from the front tyres and maximise wake flow to the rear radiator.

Depending on the vehicle’s speed and the selected drive mode, the active aero system’s rear wing can be in one of three positions: closed, “maximum performance,” or “maximum handling,” all of which optimise the vehicle’s overall balance and work in tandem with vortex generators installed in the front and rear of the chassis’ underside to increase air flow and aid in brake cooling. Lamborghini’s transmission utilises a lightweight 7-speed Independent Shifting Rod (ISR) shifting mechanism, which allows for fully automated gear changes in as little as 50 milliseconds.

The Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae has three different dynamic settings that the driver can pick from: STRADA, SPORT, and CORSA. In EGO mode, the driver can configure their own preferences for the Lamborghini active suspension (LMS), traction controls (engine, transmission, and four-wheel drive), and steering.

Lamborghini’s aspirated V12 design tradition reaches its zenith in the Aventador, and that’s exactly what the Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae is celebrating. Combining the greatest features of the SVJ, which set the standard for performance, and the S model, which set the standard for timeless super sports elegance, this vehicle strikes the ideal balance between power and agility while maintaining an air of timeless grace.

Owners of the 350 numbered coupés and 250 numbered roadsters of the Ultimae have access to a new palette of exterior and interior options, providing a refined yet dynamic, elegant yet distinctive portrayal of the last Aventador. Its uncluttered profile is as iconic as that of the Countach, Diablo, or Murciélago, all other V12 Lamborghini classics. The new palette of tone-on-tone hues is sophisticated and reminiscent of the Aventador’s original, aeronautical-inspired design. Owners can customise their very own piece of Lamborghini V12 driving history from a palette of 18 standard hues and more than 300 additional colours available through Lamborghini Ad Personam.

The Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae is introduced in a two-tone, grey-on-grey scheme with lines and details picked out in matt red Rosso Mimir, such as the splitter’s outline and “teeth.” The accent line continues along the car with matching accents on the rear fins of the visible carbon fibre rear diffuser, showcasing the perfect balance between elite performance and design purity. Visible carbon fibre is also an option for the roof of the Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae Roadster.

The interior echoes the exterior’s beautiful yet athletic two-tone with black leather and Alcantara base materials accented with grey stitching and trim and black Alcantara ‘Y’ seat inserts. The Ultimae model is distinguished by a new and exciting design option: laser cut ‘Y’ repeat motifs with contrasting background colours on the seats and dashboard. The LP 780-4 features a comfort seat derived from the Aventador S; the term “Ultimae” is embroidered into the seat bolster, and the limited edition number “001 of 350/250” is displayed on the A-pillar driver dashboard area.

Three base colours (silver, bronze, and white) are available for the ‘S’ line highlights in the seat, door, and dash trims; five additional colours are available as options; and, of course, the practically endless spectrum of alternatives is available through Lamborghini Ad Personam. The CFK standard carbon fibre kit draws attention to both the outside and interior of the vehicle, with the latter available in a low-gloss matt finish to complement the former.

In addition to the usual silver Dianthus 20” and 21” forged alloys, you can also order them in bronze, black, and titanium, and they come equipped with Pirelli PZero Corsa tyres. The exterior is decked out in a white, silver, and bronze livery that extends the accent colours found on the front and rear bumpers and the diffuser fins. The wheel monolock’s silver finish matches the spectrum of colours available for the callipers.

The interior refinement extends to the driver and passengers as well; a personal TFT digital dashboard shows driver modes and allows for the regulation of in-car connectivity. Voice-activated communication and entertainment are handled by Apple CarPlay, and the Lamborghini telemetry system can be added for those who want to race in celebration of the final Aventador.
