For the 2024 Concours on Savile Row, Austin Pedal Cars teamed up with the world-famous Savile Row clothing manufacturer Holland & Sherry to produce a one-of-a-kind pedal car, the Austin J40 Continuation.
Some of the world's most exquisite fabrics have been provided by Holland & Sherry to custom tailors, haute couture designers, and international luxury brands since 1836. Wool merchants Stephen George Holland and Frederick Sherry originally set up shop at 10 Old Bond Street in London; in 1982, they relocated to Savile Row.
This one-of-a-kind Austin J40 Continuation by Holland & Sherry combines the finest elements of automotive design with the timeless elegance of Savile Row, showcasing the merging of two legendary British businesses.
The Austin Pedal Cars J40 Continuation is an all-new model that offers a contemporary spin on the iconic J40 pedal vehicle, despite the initial perception of resemblance. Stylish and functional, the J40 Continuation has a hand-formed aluminium frame and an elegantly crafted, lightweight pedal-system.
An exquisite handbrake gaiter trimmed to match the opulent, specifically created and made seat adorns the unique inside of the Holland & Sherry Austin J40 Continuation, which is upholstered in the best Holland & Sherry fabric. In addition to the automobile, the fabric has been utilised in several distinctive accessories, such as a tool roll and a high-quality leather bag, to complement the car's breathtaking blue colour.
This one-of-a-kind J40 Continuation may have started out as a pedal vehicle for kids, but it would make the perfect addition to any private collection of cars or even just a beautiful accent piece in anyone's home.
With the help of this unique Savile Row partnership, Austin Pedal Cars has introduced a new customised design plan for the J40 Continuation. This initiative gives customers the chance to have a brand new Austin J40 made according to their exact specifications. Customers will have their pick of an almost infinite colour palette, the ability to add personalised touches to their vehicles, and a plethora of interior finishes, including a variety of Holland & Sherry fabrics.
