The Foundation of the Dom Pérignon Style.

Sommeliers, artists, and creators from all over the world gathered in Barcelona for the 4th annual Révélations event, which the champagne Maison Dom Pérignon and its Chef de Cave Vincent Chaperon hosted to learn more about the mystery of Dom Pérignon's creative journey.

A one-of-a-kind event held in Ricardo Bofill's famed La Fábrica, the Révélations 2024 saw the unveiling of two new vintages from Dom Pérignon: the Vintage 2015 and the Vintage 2006 Plénitude 2. That same year, the legendary Maison opened its doors to the public for the first time ever with an exhibition documenting the Pré-Assemblages, the term used to describe Dom Pérignon's creative journey and its meeting with the year's unique character.

On the guest list were Spanish artist Ruben Cortada, English actor Trino Verkade, Valeria Bruni Tedeschi (actress, writer, and director), Vinicio Marchioni (actress, writer, and principal dancer at the Bavarian State Ballet), Julian MacKay (American principal dancer at the Bavarian State Ballet), Derek Blasberg (American writer, editor, and painter), and Chloe Wise (Canadian artist and painter).

In a one-of-a-kind experiential dinner, guests were invited to explore the artistic value of Dom Pérignon Vintage 2015 and Dom Pérignon Vintage 2006 Plénitude 2: tactility. The menu was crafted by Michelin-starred chefs Albert Adrià and Niko Romito, in a high-end creative dialogue with Dom Pérignon's Chef de Cave, Vincent Chaperon. Starting with their own unique sensibilities and creative directions, each chef suggested a one-of-a-kind tactile experience of their food with each wine.

As the evening progressed, French pianist Bertrand Chamayou provided interpretations of three works by American composer John Cage that are conceptual and experimental in nature and prominently feature the use of silence. The latest Dom Pérignon vintages were best enjoyed in quiet contemplation.

In September 2024, Dom Pérignon and chef Albert Adrià will continue their cordial collaboration at Enigma, where they will introduce a unique premium cuisine experience that draws inspiration from the two newest Dom Pérignon Vintages.

Dom Pérignon is born out of a feeling that Chef de Cave Vincent Chaperon experiences while working in the vines. Instinctive creativity, nurtured by the natural environment and the skilled artisans of Dom Pérignon, amplifies this feeling. Over time, this gut feeling develops into a strategy, or Pré-Assemblages, that lays the groundwork for the final product. As time passes, the wines are assembled (or blended, in French).

Dom Pérignon's "TRACE" exhibition, which communicates the creative processes of Chef de Cave Vincent Chaperon, is a preview of the brand's 2023 creative aim and an attempt to highlight the company's creative ethos and culture via the arts. A talent group chronicles a yearlong search for an invisible trace through drawings, pictures, and words.
