The launch of the 60th Anniversary Collection alongside Lando Norris

In honour of the 60th anniversary of McLaren's foundation as a premier motorsports team and manufacturer of high-end sports cars, the popular international luggage and accessories brand TUMI has released a special edition line called the TUMI | McLaren 60th Anniversary Collection. Lando Norris, a returning member of the TUMI Crew and a McLaren Formula 1 driver, debuted the collection in the third and final "Unpack Future" campaign for Spring 2023.

Bruce McLaren, a driver, engineer, and visionary from New Zealand, founded the English racing team that is now one of the most recognisable brands in motorsports sixty years ago. McLaren has been victorious in twenty F1 World Championships, 183 F1 races, three Indy 500s, and one 24 Hours of Le Mans. Bruce's aim to create the world's finest automobiles for track and road was realised in the 1960s with the introduction of the M6GT, the first McLaren supercar. "In honour of McLaren's 60th anniversary, we collaborated with TUMI to create a one-of-a-kind capsule edit that draws inspiration from our core and carbon fibre collections.

New seasonal pieces from the commemorative partnership between TUMI and McLaren will combine cutting-edge technology, innovation, and design excellence to maintain the brand's tradition of fusing fashion, lifestyle, and technology.

The limited-edition collection features several pieces, such as the Torque Sling, Velocity Backpack, and Aero International Expandable 4 Wheeled Carry-On, in McLaren's signature papaya colorway, to meet the needs of pioneers, travellers, and adventurers on the go, as seen in Lando's 'Unpack Tomorrow' campaign photos.

Following in the footsteps of Richarlison de Andrade and Reneé Rapp, Lando's "Unpack Tomorrow" installment depicts the racing superstar in a short-film montage of his trips, highlighting a hybrid McLaren Artura supercar and the manner in which the performance of his TUMI bag parallels his own.
