The World's First Transformable Entertainment Venue on Water
The Oceaya project, which is the world's first totally modular floating venue with an emphasis on sustainability and authentic experiences, has been revealed, marking a momentous occasion in the realms of entertainment and hospitality. Beginning in the year 2025, Oceaya will be travelling to the most stunning locations all over the world throughout the peak tourism seasons.
Daniels Ikajevs, the visionary behind Oceaya, says, "Oceaya is a testament to the limitless possibilities of design and entertainment. We are thrilled to introduce Oceaya to the world and look forward to inviting everyone to embark on a journey of unforgettable experiences, where the boundaries between leisure, art, and entertainment merge."
With the ability to convert into many configurations, including a nightclub, restaurant, theatre, catwalk, and more, Oceaya is the ultimate multipurpose entertainment venue. It has been precisely constructed to respond to the varying demands of its customers, and therefore has the potential to transform into a variety of different settings. Oceaya is versatile enough to be employed for a wide range of purposes and events, including weddings, fashion displays by top designers, and exciting evenings presented by world-famous DJs.
The flexibility of the platform to scale and alter in size and shape, from 4,000 square feet (370 square metres) to over 12,000 square feet (1,115 square metres), is ultimately responsible for the infinite design and usefulness of the platform. Daniels Ikajevs and teams of world-renowned architects at Waterstudio.NL, leading engineers at MEYER Floating Solutions, and globally recognised designers at Prospect Design International are responsible for the conception and creation of Oceaya. The venue's innovative architecture is intertwined with its natural and harmonious interior design, which results in the creation of a venue that challenges the limitations that are currently associated with traditional real estate.
As a leading example of sustainability, Oceaya is dedicated to making a positive contribution to the well-being and resilience of our planet via the utilisation of environmentally aware building materials and the implementation of sustainable business practices. The team from Oceaya will provide active assistance for scientific research that is connected to marine ecosystems in the surrounding area. The amenities of the venue will be made available to researchers, and Oceaya will give financial support for research initiatives that aim to combat climate change, reduce the rise of sea levels, gain a better knowledge of aquatic habitats, and protect marine species in the regions in which it works.
“The idea of Oceaya was driven by passion for innovation. In every project that my teams are involved in, we push the design and technical boundaries to create concepts the world has never seen; we are already envisioning the next venue, which will provide a new, different, unimaginable, and immersive experience. Expect to see us buzzing across Europe, the Middle East, the Americas, and Asia,” said Ikajevs. Oceaya promises to be a game-changer for event planners, jet-setters, and those seeking unique and memorable adventures.
