"This is the First Car that I’ve Designed; This is me in a car."

Formula One driver named Lando Norris accepted the McLaren 765LT Spider that McLaren Special Operations (MSO) had built especially for him and presented to him at the McLaren Production Centre in Woking, England.

The 23-year-old's decision to get a custom automobile was greatly motivated by his desire to project a certain image. Like with all McLaren road and racing vehicles since the breakthrough MP4/1 Formula 1 car in 1981, the MSO Lando Norris 1 of 1 is easily recognisable thanks to its Gloss Blue Tint Visual Carbon Fibre exterior with contrasting Satin Visual Carbon Fibre accents.

Lando's 765LT has a unique external finish that is enhanced by Satin Black rims and contrasted by Lando Yellow brake callipers. The callipers are the same colour as Lando's four stripe Graphic, which appears over the right side eye socket and beneath the active rear wing. On the upper surface of the wing is a Satin Carbon Fibre insert with the MSO logo printed in Gloss Blue Tint Visual Carbon Fibre.

Additional exterior additions include an air intake system, side skirts, door mirrors, and the carbon fibre external upgrade kits (front Splitter, Front Fenders, Rear Diffuser, Air Intakes). MSO Specified Carbon Fiber is used for the top Tonneau and the rear aero bridge as well. The MSO Specified Carbon Fibre Hood is the last external touch, and the lightweight Dark Chrome McLaren insignia completes the look. Both the Rear Wing mechanism and the Titanium Exhaust's characteristic quad-exit receive stealthy finishes thanks to the Stealth Pack.

As the glass Electrochromic Roof of the Retractable Hard Top is retracted, the inside takes on Lando's signature colour scheme. Navy blue Napier stitching adorns the carbon fibre racing seats. In addition, Lando's initials, "LN4", are stitched on the head rests as a personal touch. The door appliques and dashboard trim include a painted white pinstripe and navy blue Alcantara and Napier Stitching accents.

“I’ve been able to drive a lot of different McLarens, but this is the first car that I’ve designed; this is me in a car. I’m a carbon lover, the more carbon I can have, the better but I didn’t want to have my logo everywhere, I wanted something a bit more subtle and MSO has done a fantastic job to realise my vision. My first custom car has been designed by McLaren and MSO and is even more perfect than I can imagine.”

As you open the doors, you may see the MSO Bespoke Dark Tint Carbon Union Flag Sill with Lando Graphic, among other hidden internal elements. The MSO Custom Floor Carpet, also seen on the passenger side, features LN4 logo and Napier Stitching and is positioned in front of Blue Anodized Pedals to complement the MSO Custom Steering Wheel with Blue Tint Carbon Fade, a white 12 o'clock marker, and a Lando Yellow Lando Graphic. A one-of-a-kind MSO Dedication Plaque is installed within the distracting interior, testifying to Lando's one-and-only commission.

The keychain's custom design—a glossy blue tinted visual carbon fiber with a Lando graphic in Lando Yellow—is the finishing touch.

The McLaren 765LT is the newest vehicle to bear the revered Longtail moniker, which debuted in 1997 with the iconic McLaren F1 GTR. With its 765PS and 800Nm from its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, the 765LT can sprint from 0 to 200 km/h in under 7 seconds. Very low curb weight and a track-developed suspension system contribute to an exciting driving experience.

Lando's McLaren 765LT Spider is one of the rarest of the production run, as there were only 765 made, and they all sold out quickly.
