Adventure-focused, the 47m Superyacht King Benji.
The interior of King Benji, which was provided by Design Unlimited and was constructed by Dunya Yachts according to a design by Gregory C. Marshall Naval Architect LTD, has now been handed to the owner of the yacht. The vibrant and imaginative interior of the building is inspired of the lush tropical settings and ocean-side surroundings. It is a setting that is both lively and restful, and it promotes comfort while maintaining a whimsical sense of personality.
The atmosphere on board is one of unwinding and indulging, which invites a change of pace from the frenetic speed of modern life and the activities that take place in the city. Even while this tranquilly is maintained throughout the boat, the bottom deck of the yacht will take you on an adventure that will lead you to the depths of the ocean. As you walk down her main staircase, you will find four guest rooms, each of which has its own feature wall that is decorated with the most stunning wallpapers and is themed around the ocean.
The upper deck is reserved exclusively for the owner, and it features a private saloon as well as a cabin that is unique. The biodiversity of the jungle is reflected in this space through the use of tropical wallpapers, botanical prints, and many hues of green.
Through the entirety of the boat, reclaimed and textured wood may be found. Textured surfaces that are designed to gently age with time, to be embraced and loved, and eventually to create an inviting atmosphere for experiences of all sorts are provided by bamboo features that have been beautifully made, natural materials, and organic woven fibres.
When you ascend to the sky deck, you will notice that the atmosphere has become more gloomy, giving the feeling that you are tucked away in the shadows of the rainforest.
“King Benji is all about life. She is joyful and uplifting, vibrant and carefree. Her extraordinary design stems from the Owner’s spirit and passion for adventure and we have worked closely together to bring to life her unique story which unfurls as you step aboard.”
Mark Tucker, Creative Director, Design Unlimited.
A crucial component of the design brief was the flexibility of the space. Onboard, there are a multiplicity of distinct places, each of which has been meticulously curated to bring about a change of view during extended voyages and to readily lend themselves to parties and socialising.
The proprietor places a high value on the art of cooking, and as a result, the galley, the breakfast counter, and the outside Teppanyaki bar were all created to provide guests with the opportunity to engage with one another and enjoy themselves while sharing their culinary experiences.
With the removal of water toys from their storage locations on the lower aft deck, the area transforms into a spacious beach club. This is made possible by a crane that weighs ten tonnes. There is a Jacuzzi with two different temperature zones concealed behind sun cushions on the bow of the boat, and the crowning treasure of the yacht is a crow's nest that offers wonderful views in every direction.
Over the course of this summer, King Benji will be available for charter in the Mediterranean region. This vessel is outfitted with all of the amenities necessary for lengthy cruising and adventurous adventures. It is with great pleasure that we inform you that King Benji has been presented with a nomination for a World Superyacht Award. Additionally, the yacht will be making her premiere at the MYBA Charter Show in the month of April.
