Lanzante returns in force to Goodwood Festival of Speed

Lanzante, a British company that specialises in automobile engineering, will once again provide a world-class lineup for the Goodwood Festival of Speed. In some capacity, no less than seven vehicles will make their debut appearances in front of the general public as the team actively displays its skills both on the renowned Hillclimb and from the eye-catching Lanzante Pavilion, which looks directly over the circuit.

A static and on-track exhibition of the 930 TAG Turbo will be the focal point of the Lanzante exhibit. The covers will be removed off two specimens, which are based on the Porsche 930 Turbo body form and powered by authentic McLaren-TAG Formula 1 engines from the 1980s. One of them, a tribute to the accomplishments of the driver Stefan Johansson, mixes one of his racing engines from the 1987 campaign with his much praised artwork.

Stefan's own race engine from the McLaren MP4/3 Formula 1 race car, which he drove at the 1987 Austrian round, is installed in "SJ87." Beyond this, the sparkling white bodywork of "SJ87" is completed in a totally unique style. His father's childhood moniker for him, "Little Leaf," served as inspiration for the design, which incorporates green hues from his signature helmet style. His Swedish origin is referenced by the use of blue and yellow, and his livery from his McLaren race car, which has contributed its unique 1.5-liter V6 twin turbo engine, is referenced by the use of red and white. Stefan meticulously hand painted the final design in his signature way to create a remarkable piece that combines his past and present interests.

A number of McLarens will be included among the other cars Lanzante will display as the renowned brand marks its 60th anniversary. There will be several McLaren P1 variations, demonstrating the range of engineering Lanzante offers with the now-iconic hypercar. A specially ordered, motorsport-themed P1 HDK, two P1 GTs, and a technical showpiece of the track-focused P1 LM25, featuring exposed bodywork and a singular insight into the engineering precision on the car, will be displayed on the stand. Each of these extreme examples of the car was designed and developed by Lanzante. This will be shown alongside the Senna GTR and the 765LT Spider, two other specimens from the LM25 collection. The P1 Spider, which will be on exhibit in the Supercar Paddock, will round up the P1 hypercar lineup. The open-top hypercar, which had its world debut at the Festival last year, is back in almost-production condition and will be seen going up the Hill for the first time this weekend.

The first Pagani Zonda Revolución that has been modified for the road will also make its premiere on the Hill. This has just finished the modification procedure, which was entirely overseen and engineered by Lanzante throughout, and it debuts one of the most extreme track cars on the road.It will be accompanied by two additional street-legal race legends, and a pair of McLaren F1 GTRs will round out the exciting lineup..

One of the 64 McLaren F1 roadcars will serve as Lanzante's representation in the Style et Luxe exhibit on the Cartier Lawn. Lanzante maintains Chassis #067, which will be on exhibit as part of the concours event.
