Great expectations: Top Marques Monaco set to be bigger & better!

Last year, when the Top Marques Monaco supercar show returned, thousands of car fans were excited, and the show's new classic car hall was a big hit right away. During the four-day event, exhibitors said that they sold a lot of all kinds of products. This included the part of the show where old sports cars from the 1950s to the 1990s were displayed.

It was revealed that over 22,000 people from as far away as Japan, Brazil, Mexico, and the United States attended the show last year.

"After two years of Covid, it was a real challenge to organize this edition of Top Marques, and to mobilize the exhibitors, the manufacturers and the public to make the event a success. But we met the challenge”, Salim Zeghdar, CEO of Top Marques, said last night.

“We exceeded our expectations both in terms of sales by our exhibitors and the number of visitors. All the indicators are very positive and are there to encourage me and my team to start working on a sensational edition next year, with even more world launches and exceptional vehicles!

In addition, the first-ever digital Top Marques Monaco allows viewers who were unable to physically attend the performance to experience it nonetheless. Simply visit the Top Marques website and navigate to the 360° tab to gain unrestricted access. More than 115 vehicles were on display at the return of the Top Marques exhibition, which takes place every June under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco. Timepieces and exquisite jewellery displayed in the Espace Diaghilev also sold well, as did several superboats on display on the Esplanade near the Grimaldi Forum.

More than two thousand five hundred VIPs were invited to the event's exclusive VIP Avant-premiere opening, where many purchases were made before the general public was allowed in.

On the first day of the show, H.S.H. Prince Albert revealed a record-breaking number of world premieres. The PJ-01 Project by Pambuffetti in Italy, the 660 LMS by Picasso Automobile in Switzerland, the Dallara D50 by Aznom Automotive, the Magnifica by Radikal Design, and three amazing air vehicles by Xturismo (image above), Jetson One by Mc-Clic, and the MC-One by Mc-Clic.

Launches in Europe included the Pininfarina Battista, the Japanese Aspark Owl, and the electric supercar Deus Vayanne, as well as five world premieres: the McLaren Artura and DBX 707 from Aston Martin, and the Maserati MC20 and 4×4 Grecale.

But many people thought that the cars in the Classic Car Hall were the most beautiful. There, well-known classic car dealers like Monaco Luxury, Boutsen Classic Cars, British & Sportscars, DPM Motors, Dream Car Performance, and Classics 4 You showed off famous cars from their private collections.

Auto influencer GMK, who is the ambassador for Top Marques, spent more than five hours over the weekend talking to fans and asking them to sign his car. His presence was the highlight of the event for other supercar fans.

This year, on June 7-11, 2023, the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco will host Top Marques Monaco once more.
